Fire Safety Advice
In the light of the devasting fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017, in which 72 people tragically lost their lives, there has been an increasing focus on fire safety issues.
This has led to significant changes to the legal framework on fire and building safety in England and Wales, together with an ongoing review of building and fire safety in Scotland.
From issuing a briefing to our clients whilst Grenfell Tower was still burning, to providing detailed advice on Fire Risk Assessments, our team of highly experienced consultants is constantly on hand to support clients. We can provide you with the advice and guidance you need in this complex and evolving area of health and safety.
As well as having wealth of practical fire safety experience in our broader Consultancy Team, we also have a specialist internal ‘fire’ team. They have completed additional training and hold membership of either the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE). Our team members who undertake Fire Risk Assessments are also registered Fire Risk Assessors with the IFSM.
The sectors in which we have provided fire safety advice include healthcare, heritage, manufacturing, residential and renewable energy, as well offices.
Whether you need support in developing a Fire Risk Assessment for a single storey premises, you want help in developing a Safety Case Report for a residential Higher Risk Building (HRB) or you need assurance on ‘Safe to Occupy’ status within the PFI/PPP sector, we can help.
